My name is Garland O. Ramsey and I started the Number One Domino Museum and Parlor as my way of educating people about a wonderful and challenging game that has been around for centuries. Dominos are played in almost every country in the world and I have traveled the globe in search of rare domino sets. In 2002, I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to England and to Australia where I was able to pick up several more sets of dominos to add to my collection.
The Number One Domino Museum has more domino sets and older ones than even the London Museum. We literally have thousands of sets made from almost any material imaginable. In addition to being the Founder and President of His House Ministries, Garland Ramsey has also spent untold hours researching the history of the game. He has done vast research into how the rules for the game have changed over the years into what we consider as the standard rules for today. Garland has taken a particular interest in researching Civil War Era dominos and has become quite the authority on the subject.
